The Centennial Mower
From the President
Anita shares her thoughts about our Club in 2025, a preview of January for our Club, and how we achieve our goals for the remainder of this Rotary Year.

Centennial Project Approved!
As you may have heard, the City has signed off on the Bandshell covering project, which will be our Club's service project for this year.  Now that renderings have been approved and the cost determined, we'll be sharing more about this project on the Club's Facebook page and website.  With $50,000 to raise, and encouraged by an amazing $1 for $1 match, the path to success is in front of us and starts with us sharing this opportunity with our families, friends, and neighbors.  Thanks in advance for helping spread the word and inviting folks to join us in this impactful project!
THANK YOU!

Thank you to everyone for once again making this year's Stuff the Cruiser a tremendous success through its positive impact on so many area children and their families.  Thanks for your contribution of time, skills, and donations.  Thank you to our longtime partners at the Police Department for joining our Club in this effort.  Thank you to Jones Group for providing more than 15 bikes to ensure every child who asked for a bike received one.  Thank you to our community for its generosity!

Invite Someone to Rotary
There's a lot already in the works for our Club's 100th Anniversary Year and the excitement is building.  Wouldn't it be great to capitalize on it by growing our Club?

According to one survey of Rotarians, 85% joined their current club because someone invited them.  So who do you know that would make a great Rotarian?  Now that you've thought of them, invite them to join you at one of our weekly meetings - perhaps Gov. Pillen's visit on August 28th - and introduce them to your fellow Rotarians.  After that, well, you joined, didn't you?

Attend Rotary More in '25
Whether you attend every week (hi, Ken!), once a month, once a quarter, here's the fact - our Club is better with you present!  If you haven't been in a while, attend Rotary this month.  If you're attending monthly, set a goal to attend twice a month in 2025.  Our weekly meeting is how we stay connected as Rotarians and best informed about how each of us, and our Club, can serve our community.  See you at Rotary!
Did You Know?
23 years ago this month, Seward Rotarian Rick Gray bowled a perfect game at the Seward Bowl.  Anyone up for a bowl-a-thon to see if he can recreate the feat?
