Former District Governor Mick McKinley is challenging every Rotary club in District 5650, including Seward Rotary Club, to be a "Every Rotarian, Every Year" club
November is Rotary Foundation Month so let me ask - are you aware that only 34% of all Rotarians worldwide donate to the Annual Fund each year?

I know our district can do much better than that so I am challenging every club in District 5650 to achieve Rotary’s Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY) status.  How does your club achieve this? By having every Rotarian in your club contribute $25.00 or more to the Annual Fund.

When your club achieves this standard, it will be recognized as a EREY Club and will receive a special banner recognizing your donations.

Taking it to the next level, a $100.00 donation for the year will also make you a Sustaining Member of the Rotary Foundation and if every member in your club makes a $100 or more contribution your club can be recognized as a 100% Sustaining Member Club. If you are able, we would love to welcome you into the Paul Harris Society with a gift of $1,000 or more and a pledge to continue to do so annually.

Now you don’t need to do this all at once, donations can be made monthly or quarterly through Rotary Direct on the Rotary International website. Your contributions will also be credited to your club’s giving totals. Here’s an example of what those giving amounts look like:

I know that each of us have different abilities to give, but as Rotarians, I would hope all of us can give at least $25.00 to the Annual Fund.  So, let’s start this year off right and contribute to “Our Foundation,” The Rotary Foundation, and the Annual Fund, where 92% of your contribution will go towards program awards, like grants to your club for your local projects. Where else can you get that bang for your buck!

Thanks to all who have all ready contributed!
