Barbara "Baki" Terzic - the 2017-2018 International Student from AU/ZH Switzerland at Seward High School - talked about her year in America with the Seward Rotary Club on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. During her time in Seward, Ms. Terzic lived with Rotarians Jill and Brady Johnson and their family.
Barbara "Baki" Terzic - the 2017-2018 International Student from AU/ZH Switzerland was the featured program for the Seward Rotary Club on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Jones National Bank and Trust auditorium. A luncheon and business meeting preceded the program.

Honored guests were her parents-Anna Terzic - her mother and Edin Herau- her Stepfather.  Also attending were her host parents Brady and Jill Johnson of Seward!

John Owens and Max Wake were program chairs! 

Baki's host mother- Jill Johnson introduced her and spoke on their relationship and experiences!

Baki presentation included a power point presentation and her reflections as an international student in the US and at Seward High!  She arrived in August and will leave for home with her parents on May 24!

She visited the Black Hills with the Johnson family- and also toured Hawaii, Arizona, and Nevada. She spoke on her Year in Seward and her country of Switzerland-complete with photos on Swiss sites and customs!

Questions and answers followed!  She thanked the Rotary Club for their support, and spoke fondly of her experiences at SHS-and appreciated the staff, faculty and her fellow classmates! Special thanks and love was given to her host family and US parents- Jill and BradyJohnson and their wonderful family! 

She shared Swiss Chocolates with the Rotarians! The Rotary Club presented her with Rotary mementos, a Rotary banner, and mementos from Seward and Nebraska!
