  • “Grandparent” Division-Mike Leydig, Kearney, NE
 
The pies were made fresh on July 4. Judges were local Rotarians (professional eaters)-Todd LaVelle, Kurth
Brashear and Russ Sommerfeld and the emcee was Rotarian Clark Kolterman. The winner won a Grand National Champion trophy. The pies and trophy were donated by the Seward Rotary Club. Rotarians assisting on stage were Jon Kruse, Bonnie Kruse, Matt Dominy, Jessica Kolterman, Jonathan Metske, Mark Suhr (Recording on Facebook) and members of the Rotarian’s families.

The gum was purchased locally by the Seward Rotary Club and judged by local Rotarian Bubble Gum professionals-Rotarians Todd LaVelle, Kurth Brashear and Russ Sommerfeld. The Seward Rotary Club sponsored the Grand National Champion trophy for the annual event. Seward Rotarian, Clark Kolterman served as the emcee.
