Seward Rotarian and State Senator Mark Kolterman was honored at an appreciation reception by Seward Rotary and other local civic groups for his eight years of service in the Unicameral
During an “Appreciation Reception” for State Senator Mark Kolterman on November 4, 2022, hosted by his family, a special moment of recognition and thanks was directed to Senator Mark Kolterman by the Seward’s five internationally affiliated civic groups.  The recognition,  honor and special salute was a combined effort by the local groups to thank Sen. Kolterman for his service in representing the City of Seward, Seward County, and the rest of District #24 in the last eight years in the Nebraska Legislature. Together, the groups presented Senator Kolterman with an engraved wooden “thank you” plaque, expressing the appreciation of his community and the Greater Seward area.

Saluting Senator Kolterman were Seward Rotary Club, represented by Greg Zabka, Seward Kiwanis Club, represented by Jonathan Jank, GFWC Seward Woman’s Club, represented by Jean Kolterman, GFWC Seward Junior Women’s Club, represented by State Sen.-elect Jana Hughes, and Seward Optimist Club, represented by Jeanne Gee.  Mark's brother, and fellow Rotarian, Clark Kolterman served as the emcee for the presentation.

Congratulations, Mark!  Thank you for this public act of "Service Above Self!"
