Tickets are now available to purchase for Seward Rotary Club's annual Grocery Grab fundraiser, which will support the renovation of the one room schoolhouse at the Seward County Historical Society in Goehner this year
Seward Rotary Club has kicked off its annual Grocery Grab Raffle and tickets are available now through October 5th for the October 8th event. This year's effort launched with a booth at the Seward County Fair that featured a mini grocery cart.
Net proceeds from this year's fundraiser will assist with the repairs and renovations at the one room school house on the campus of the Seward County Historical Society Museum in Goehner.
As in past years, one raffle ticket holder will win the opportunity to have two minutes to fill a grocery cart with groceries at Pac n Save in Seward. A first drawing on Wednesday, October 5th at noon during the Seward Rotary Club meeting will select eight preliminary winners who will be invited to Pac n Save for the final drawing and event on Saturday, October 8th at 1:00 pm where the overall winner will be drawn. The other seven preliminary winners will each receive a $25 gift card from Pac n Save. Last year’s drawing winner collected over $1,000 worth of groceries.
Tickets can be purchased at Jones Bank, the Seward County Chamber & Development Partnership office in the Civic Center, and from Seward Rotarians. Ticket sales will end at 10:00 am on October 5th in advance of the the noon drawing at the Rotary meeting that day.
