November is Rotary Foundation month across Rotary International and for our Club.  This month, we note how The Rotary Foundation supports our Club's work and announce an exciting opportunity to increase our impact as a Club.
The Rotary Foundation enables our Club to increase our impact by improving the quality of life in our Seward community and in the world.  We celebrate this work during Rotary Foundation Month!

Our Club recently completed our first Rotary Global Grant supplying hospital beds for Grand Bahama following Hurricane Dorian.  This was in addition to the multiple annual projects our Club has supported every year, including playgrounds at Seward Elementary, St. John Lutheran School, and Armory Park, Blue River Pet Rescue, and more.  All of these projects have received grants from The Rotary Foundation, increasing their impact.

Rotarians are the primary source of gifts and support for The Rotary Foundation, which has an annual giving goal of “Every Rotarian , Every Year.”

Our Club's goals include every member personally giving each year, with the suggestion of a personal gift of $100 annually.  This is in addition to what the Club contributes to The Rotary Foundation on your behalf.  Ways to give include monthly recurring credit card donations, gifts by check, or gifts of appreciated assets.  All gifts to The Rotary Foundation earn points towards Paul Harris Fellow Recognition.

Our Club goal for support of The Rotary Foundation this year, as a Club, are $4,000 for the Annual Fund, which provides grants to support our local and global projects, and $4,000 for Polio Plus.  From now until December 31, 2021, thanks to the generosity of several of your fellow Rotarians, Seward Rotarians who donate to the Annual Fund will receive an equal number of Paul Harris Recognition Points, accelerating your path towards achieving this distinction.

Your support of the Rotary Foundation is deeply appreciated!
