Representatives of Seward Rotary visited the Rotary Club of St. Lo (France) this past summer, continuing ongoing relationships between the clubs
Alan Baldwin, Seward Rotary Past President, represented the Club and brought greetings on its behalf at a Rotary Club in St. Lo, France meeting in July.  Baldwin was part of the Nebraska National Guard Museum delegation touring the Normandy region in commemoration of the heroic role that the Nebraska National Guard’s134th Infantry Regiment played in the Battle of St. Lo and the liberation of France in 1944.  You can learn more about the exploits of the 134th here.
 
Baldwin presented the St. Lo Rotary Banner to the Seward Club and shared his experiences at the St. Lo club's meeting, noting that the Seward Rotary Club and St. Lo Rotary Club are “Sister Clubs!”  On behalf of Seward Rotary, Baldwin invited the St. Lo Rotarians to consider a visit to Seward in the future, promising them that Seward Rotarians would be warm and generous hosts to America's 4th of July City.
