The Child Welfare System in Nebraska

Julie Rogers is the Inspector General of Nebraska Child Welfare. In this role, Ms. Rogers provides an independent form of inquiry and review of the agencies and individuals response for the care and protection of children in the Child Welfare and Juvenile Probation systems, including children in foster care. Over the past decade, a number of initiatives have been undertaken with regard to both juvenile justice and foster care. This program will provide insights into the important issues facing many children in Nebraska.
