The new year of Seward Rotary Club programs, activities, and service begins on July 1, 2022 and concludes on June 30, 2023.

Lincoln Premium Poultry, which contracts with many producers in Seward County, opened its Fremont chicken processing facility in 2016.  We'll hear from fellow Rotarian, Jessica Kolterman, the company's Director of Administration, about what the company has learned, how the facility operates today, and the economic impact it has on eastern Nebraska in this presentation.

As the Adjutant General, Nebraska National Guard, Mar. Gen. Daryl Bohac is the senior uniformed National Guard officer responsible for formulating, developing, and coordinating policies, programs, and plans affecting more than 4,500 Army and Air National Guard personnel.  He will talk about how the Guard is serving Nebraskans and our nation today during his presentation.

Master Sergeant Denhart serves in the Nebraska Air National Guard's 155th Air Refueling Wing and she'll be sharing insights into her duties, and the mission of the 155th, during her presentation.

Today's speaker serves as superintendent on Petsource by Scoular's $75 million expansion project in Seward and will provide an update on the project's progress.

As the 2022-23 academic year draws to a close, Dr. Josh Fields will join us to reflect on the year, highlight accomplishments of the District's students and staff, and discuss issues and trends affecting K-12 education, both here in Seward and throughout Nebraska.

Highways in our state are a way of life, particularly in greater Nebraska, connecting disparate parts of the Good Life together and there are only a few that truly touch the variety of our people and places.  This week's program will highlight the highway that best reflects all that is Nebraska.  Which one is it?  Make sure you don't miss this week's meeting to find out.

There's a lot happening in Seward County and Jonathan Jank, SCCDP President & CEO, will share his thoughts on all of it, including current economic development efforts, an update on SCCDP's strategic plan to grow the county, and more during this week's program.

Levrack is a local success story built on "a Nebraska work ethic and Midwestern toughness."  Co-founder and CEO, Ryan Stauffer, will tell us how this Seward County business saw an opportunity, addressed it, and has grown over the last several years, all here in our area. 

Misty Ahmic of the Seward County Gives project will provide the Club with a recap of this year's event (being held May 1-5 as a reminder) and a look ahead to 2024 as county residents generously support the local nonprofits that make Seward County such a great place to live, work, and play.
