Seward Rotary Club will hold its annual "Service Above Self" Celebration on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Junto Wine. The event will include a social hour, dinner, silent auction, wine raffle, and award presentation. All proceeds raised will support local Seward Rotary service projects and Rotary International’s global effort to eradicate polio. Former Nebraska State Senator Matt Williams, interim president of the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry, will be the guest speaker. The highlight of the event will be the presentation of Seward Rotary's annual awards - the Seward Rotary Service Above Self Award to Michelle Meyer, the Wayne Tanderup Award to Kierra Bennett, and the T.H. Wake Sr. Award to Hughes Brothers, Inc. and the Hughes family. The evening will begin with a social hour featuring a cash bar hosted by Junto, followed by dinner catered by Pizza Kitchen. Individual tickets are $50 a piece and can be purchased in person at Jones Bank or the Seward County Chamber & Development Partnership office or online at sewardrotary.org.
