Pastors' DayWe will hold our annual Seward Pastors' Day Christmas luncheon, featuring a special meal and musical presentation by the St. John Lutheran School Middle School Choir, as we thank the clergy in our community who demonstrate "service above self" daily as they serve God and their congregations.

Rowling This program will be presented by Concordia University Prof. Kathy Miller and several of her students from their class project, "The Family," where students interviewed local Seward residents about their stories, families, and history. They will share with us what they learned about those they interviewed, our community, and themselves as a result of this unique project all about making connections. The public is welcome to join us for this special presentation.

![]() HoriSun HospiceThe mission of HoriSun Hospice, Inc. of Lincoln is to "deliver the highest level of holistic hospice care with honor and respect for patients and their families." This program will provide Seward Rotarians with the opportunity to learn more about hospice care and Medicare hospice benefits generally, as well as about HoriSun Hospice and the services they provide in particular. A good chance to gain information about an increasingly important part of end of life care.

![]() Concordia's Ag Science ProgramConcordia University announced in December that it will begin offering a Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Science in 2019. What lead the university to start this program? What is its focus? How could it be a benefit to Seward County and our community? Dr. Dennis Brink, who, as a Concordia Regent, has been involved in the development and launch of this program, will provide an overview of Concordia Ag during this program, which the public is welcome to attend.
